I have added a new cookie to the cookie list which is called _ga, I have filled in the cookie ID as _ga. I have set it to be in the Analytics category (disabled by default)

I have added my google analytics script to the <head> section.

I can see _ga is firing anyway. How do I stop it?

    Hi @johnfotios,

    Greetings from Webtoffee.

Make sure that the same script is not added via some other plugin or via your theme directly. Please clear the site cache once and check.

If the issue persists, please share the site URL.

    Hi @webtoffee

I added the google analytics script to header.php in the theme directory

Where would I put it to work with this plugin?

    Hi @johnfotios,

Please remove it from header.php and add it under GDPR Cookie Consent > Cookie Category, then click edit on any one category and copy the script to head/body script field.
