Support » Fixing WordPress » Using friendly forms to output custom posts/pages

  • Question for the experts,

I have press releases which need to be plopped onto my wordpress site with very particular formatting (e.g. location in top right corner, first sentence bolded, etc. etc.).

I can manually put these releases together as posts or pages using the wordpress HTML editor, but I’m trying to make posting press releases manageable for non-technical people. Folks who don’t know HTML.

Is there some kind of functionality (built in? plugin?) which would allow me to build a kind of ‘form’ with fields like “date”, “location”, “title”, “body” where a non-technical person could just fill in the fields… and poof wordpress would generate the press release post or page with all the proper formatting, alignment, etc.

    Thanks! -j
