using float:left or right stops slideshow appearing

  • Site: http://jpsbuildingservices.com/site/

    Created a copy of the “Light” effect called JPSLightRight so I can have a float:right on it.

    I’ve set the CSS to be:

    .slideshow_container {
    margin: 0;
    position : relative;
    float : right;

    }

    The slideshow does align to the right but it’s not visible, only the arrows left and right.
    Without the float : right – statement in the CSS, it appears by default to the left and as I’d expect.
    Using Firebug, I can change the effect to float : right – and it appears as expected, with the text flowing around. However, when editing the CSS and reloading, it does not appear that way. Taking Firebug again from the incorrectly displayed slideshow and cycling through the float options, it renders correctly after returning to float : right

    Any help appreciated.

    Using Firefox and IE9

    Thanks for describing the issue so clearly, I’ve found the cause of the bug. This behaviour will be fixed in version 2.2.11, which I’m hoping to release this weekend or some time next week.
