• Ok well, I’ve basically scoured the earth trying to find solutions for doing an acceptable browser upload for accepting mass quantities of photos on wordpress and for the most part all my searches point me in the direction of swfupload. It seems though very difficult to implement in the manor I’d like and then I look at the Media Uploader built in to the admin panel and that looks wonderful. Can that be integrated into a page? Or am I stuck creating a painful custom template?

  • Edit a Page (or Post). Look for Upload/Insert near the top of the page. Pick the first icon next to that. All 4 of those little beauties will take you to a flavor of the Flash uploader.

I don’t think you understood properly. Those 4 awesome uploaders let ME add content. I want something for the CLIENT as an alternative to making them use FTP.
