Using feedburner correctly with wordpress

Hi, I was already burning a feed for blogger with feedburner, and have a number of subscribers, I have migrated over to wordpress, and want to take my subscribers with me.

I have changed the ‘originator feed’ in feedburner from the blogger one to the new wordpress one – will that work instead of doing something with .htaccess or do I have to do that also?

also, wordpress will be mapped to a subdomain, should I put the current ‘organic’ wordpress rss feed into feedburner (mydomain.com/blog/feed), or a new one based on the new subdomain (blog.mydomain.com/feed)?
