[Resolved] Using Editor for footer

  • I am new to WordPress in general so I’m totally confused as to why I can’t do a simple footer color change. Please help. I went to appearance > editor > footer.php and tried to see what I could do there and realized I should probably go to my host code editor and do it there. So I went to my default.css to all the footer properties and changed the color and it still looks messed up like that http://tintedadvertisinggraphics.com/ how can I fix this? I feel like I’m complicating my life when it’s supposed to be something easy.
P.S I even tried to use that firebug add-on from firefox to help me locate the place I needed to change which confused me more because it’s still showing something I already erased on the code editor. gahh!

    Please help
