Using Customizr – Trying to make a blog page

    Hi,

    I’m new to this and I only know things from googling etc but I’ve been trying to figure this out for a while and I’m still stuck.

    This is my page http://www.y4te.org

    And as you can see there’s a ‘blog’ page. The problem is that I can’t have a page called blog and add all of the blog posts there. I have to add a category so that I can then add blog posts.

    Is there any possible way around this? I’d rather have all my blog posts on one page instead of having to categorize them. (same goes for some of the other pages)

    I’m using Customizr 3.3.1 (and have basic knowledge)

    Hi Y4TE,

    First you create a page in Pages/add new. Then you go to Settings/Reading. There you choose Front page displays you choose A static page . Now you select one page for your front page and one page (that you’ve just created) for your blogs. Hope that helps. Regards Chris

    Hi Chris,

    Sadly whenever I do that I get a redirect loop error so that’s not an option 🙁

    I’ve now made a category called ‘blog’ and perhaps I’ll leave it like that until I figure other stuff out
