Using Currency buttons to change currency without coming to homepage

Hello:

In flatsome theme it has options to add buttons on the header with URL. Although as per your guide here:

https://currency-switcher.com/how-to-create-currency-links-without-shortcode/

If we are mentioning:
USD

then it does not work as the theme input box for URL takes it as URL only and results in error. So if we click on url it shows in broswer:
http://USD

Could you check and share if we can use the flatsome buttons to change currency without going back to homepage?
