 * I’m trying to use a child-theme for Voltata.
    When I activate the child theme,
   I can’t seem to get my logo to appear. Only the Title appears. How can I fix
   this?

 * Hello,
 * Did you change anything in the header.php file or upload a new one to the child
   theme? Maybe if your could share a link to the site.
 * Kind regards,
    Simon

 * Hi,
    I have the same problem. I use a child theme since beginning and after I
   have updated the parents theme and WP 4.5.1, my logo has disappeared. In the
   backend, I can see the logo, but it doesn’t show in the frontend. Here a “[link](http://www.fairfriends-labradors.de/)”
   to my site.
 * Kind regards
    Petra

 * Hello gripu,
 * If you are using WordPress version 4.5 or above, you should use the WordPress
   logo uploader in the Customizer, found under the “Site Identity” tab and not
   the one under the “Voltata Display Options” tab 🙂
 * Thanks for using Voltata please write here again if you encounter any other issues.
 * Kind regards,
    Simon

 * Hi Simon,
 * unfortunately, it still doesn’t work. I have all plugins disabled, and this also
   doesn’t changed anything. I see the logo in the backend in “Voltata Display Options”
   tab, but it is not shown on the page.

 * Hello again,
 * That is because you should **not** use the logo upload found in the “Voltata
   Display Options” tab any longer. It will be removed completely in one of the
   next Voltata updates.
 * Since WordPress 4.5, WordPress offers their own logo uploader, which is wiser
   to use instead of any custom build one(like the one in the “Voltata Display Options”
   tab). To use this uploader:
 * 1. Head into the Customizer
    2. When you’re in the Customizer you’ll see all
   the different tabs called: “Site Identity”, “General Color Settings”, “Voltata
   Display Options” ect., click on the one that says “**Site Identity**“ 3. Now
   the first option, right above the “_Site Title_“, is called _Logo_ and is used
   for uploading a logo. Use this logo upload instead of the one that i made for
   the theme. It works in exactly the same way as the one under the “Voltata Display
   Options” tab.
 * If you’re still in doubt, watch [this](https://wordpress.org/news/2016/04/coleman/)
   short video about the release of WordPress 4.5. It also has a section called **
   Custom Logos** which explains how to upload logos using the new version of WordPress.
 * Again thanks for using Voltata, feel free to write here if you’re still having
   any troubles.
 * Kind regards,
    Simon

 * Thank you Simon.
    Now it works :-). But I changed size of the logo in the function.
   php of the parent theme, because my logo is larger. I hope, with the next voltata
   update, the logo can use with flexible size ;-). Thank you for the excellent
   support !!!!!!

 * Hello,
 * Great! I will keep that i mind for future versions of Voltata.
    No problem at
   all.
 * Kind regards,
    Simon
