    Hi there

If I’m using EWWW Image Optimizer as well as Imsanity, will I get the both method lossy and lossless compression for the image and which plugin will preform first? The reason of my question I want keep the image in my website with high compression and high quality. Will this work if I install the both plugins.

I’ve never actually tested this, but Imsanity should run first, since it happens at the resize stage, whereas EWWW IO does not run until the metadata is being generated by Wordpess (which is the absolute last step in uploading an image). Many others have used both plugins without an issue, so I think it is a pretty safe bet that this is the case.

EWWW IO never reduces the quality of an image (unless you convert PNGs to JPGs). Imsanity is a different story altogether, but since I’ve never used it, I can’t really give you any pointers on that side of things.

confirmed that EWWW IO optimizes fully after Imsanity resize. However, because Imsanity also scales the image using the wp_image_editor class, EWWW IO re-optimizes it after it is scaled a second time, so you will see ‘No Savings’ in the Media Library.
