• hi,

i’ve successfully installed WP on my site. i can post blog entries from the WP admin interface, that apears on my blog at the same time.

but when i use BlogJet (a tool for posting blogs), the posts gets scheduled for some future time and do not appear on blog. when i change the post time from WP admin area. post appears on my blog.

my server is located at -8 GMT and im on +5 GMT

kindly let me know how i can get around it.

  • My guess is that BlogJet is inserting the blog post into the database with a future date. i.e. the time of your server or something and not your time.

WordPress is set up to show all posts older than your current time.

Check the configuration of that tool or contact the maker of the program as it’s a problem on their end, not WordPress’. 😉

    thnx for the reply,

prob is that BlogJet by default do not set datetime of a post. normally i open BlogJet, type post and publish it. but if i need to set special settings for the post, there’s a settings tab in it. but there’s no option in BlogJet to set default timezone or posts timestamp.

i’ve played alot with timezone in WP admin. but no luck untill now 🙁

and i don’t wanna set these every time i post a blog entry.

Are you and your web server in the same timezone?

How far ahead BlogJet is setting the time to be?

    Under Options/General there is:
Times in the weblog should differ by:
This is the value you need to adjust to solve your issue.

blogjet don’t have default GMT settings. and it uses my system’s current date-time when sends the post to server.
