    Hi there,

for security reasons I have to switch off Gravatar in WordPress (Settings/Discussion/Avatar Display = disable), but still want to use avatars with Ultimate Member and my WordPress site.

Ultimate Member is in version 2.2.5 and the site can currently not be reached via the Internet.

    Do you have a solution?

    Thanks very much
    Sven

    Hi @svenko

UM overrides the gravatar when the gravatar is enabled in the Discussion settings. Have you tried turning it on and then upload a profile photo via UM Profile Form?

Thanks for the very fast reply!!

Do I understand this in the right manner? I can leave Avatar switched on, UM overwrites the setting and the uploaded profile photo are saved locally? WordPress will then no longer access Gravatar?

    That would be fantastic!

    Hi @svenko

Yes, it overrides the WP gravatar. You can set the default Profile Photo in WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Settings > Appearance > Profile > see “Default Profile Photo”.
