Hi, I am working on a website and I was testing it on a subdirectory called /wordpress and it worked just fine. So I followed the directions to use a pre-existing subdirectory install and to use the main website with the files in the /wordpress folder. More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

  • Still having this issue. I’m certain that there’s something wrong with the permalinks because when I change it to default, one of the pages work, but the rest don’t. And when I change it to post-name, none of them work.

Got it to work. Just messed around with .htaccess file.
