Hi – I have a multisite install with 3 sites. I would love to be able to create a gallery on site 1 and be able to use that same gallery on site 2 and site 3. I tried doing the steps in this thread (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/multisite-gallery-1/) and did not have an luck. Have there been any developments on the filter solution proposed?

Maybe somewhat related, on site 2 and site 3 I was getting a “HTTP error” when trying to add images to a gallery. Now, site 2 is working properly and I can upload images to a gallery. However site 3 I still have the http error and the image never uploads.

@jlillibridge – Thanks for creating your own topic, I also see you sent us a Bug Report, too. I have sent a reply to that support request, let’s carry on the conversation there for the time being.

    Thanks!

Has something already been done with this problem?

Here is what I resorted to. I use ThreeWP Broadcast plugin to broadcast pages and posts to my other sites, then I manually go into my database and in my second and third sites, I delete the ngg_photos and ngg_gallery tables (I did not use albums so I did not have a need to delete that one). Then I exported the ngg_photos and ngg_gallery from the first website database and then imported them into the 2nd and 3rd websites. Sounds complicated but it only takes about 5-10 minutes.

Not ideal scenario, but it ends up working.

@jlillibridge – Thanks for describing your work-around. Glad to read it works in your case.
