Using a Menu in the Footer

    Good Evening Everyone,

    I’m using the Twenty Twelve theme and want to replace the existing footer with a custom menu. I already have a child theme and created a footer.php inside of it. The problem is the menu isn’t appear on one line, as I would like it.

    How do I get a custom menu to appear on one line, in Twenty Twelve, using my child theme, footer.php?
