Using 2.0.3 Database backup with 2.0.4 Installation

    Hey guys,
    So my site got hacked a little bit back and I lost everything on it. I fourtunately had a backup of my WordPress database saved on my PC so it was safe. At the time I was running WordPress 2.0.3, when I got my hosting back, I found that WordPress had been upgraded to 2.0.4
    Is it possible to use the 2.0.3 database with the 2.0.4 installation?

    I tried to replace the 2.0.4 database with the 2.0.3 (after installation) and everythign came out very wierd. The links wouldnt work and there was no theme in place….so I was wondering how I could get it to work.

    Since 2.0.4 was a security/bug fix upgrade, I don’t believe any structure to the database was altered, so you should have no problems. You may need to reset your permalinks and re-choose the correct theme under Presentation.
