User(s) receiving blank screen when attempting to register onto site from firefox and http 500 error from Internet explorer, yet I’m able to navigate to the registration form without issue. I checked the website log and saw numerous entries referring to the following PHP fatal error:

PHP Fatal error: Class ‘chkJM’ not found in /web/xxxxxxxxxxxx/www/wp-content/plugins/stop-spammer-registrations-plugin/stop-spammer-registrations-new.php on line 408, referer: http://xxxxxx.xxxx/wp-login.php?action=register

I have deactivated the plugin and reactivated without apparent change.

  • This is the check for malicious IP addresses from Jamaica. You can disable tests for Jamaica on the Protections options Tab of Stop Spammers – all the way down at the bottom. This will at least stop the error that you are getting.

It appears that something is missing from your plugin installation. It is possible that the installation or last upgrade did not finish well. The class is there in all of the latest versions so it should have loaded correctly.

I suggest that you download and install the latest stable version from http://www.blogseye.com/beta-test-plugins/

When you finish go to the Diagnostics tab on Stop Spammers and test Countries to see if JM (Jamaica) tests correctly.

Thanks very much. I’ve reinstalled and performed the diagnostics successfully.
