• I installed WordPress for the first time tonight and am getting a REALLY strange problem. Everything works fine except for the “Users” link. When I click that, it SHOULD go to:
    http://www.domainname.com/wp-admin/users.php
But instead, every time I click that “Users” link it loads my web host’s control panel (the one I use to create e-mail addresses, check my disk quotas, manage SQL, etc.) instead of the users control panel.
Why on earth would this happen? And according to my browser’s location bar, the address is displayed as my host’s control panel, not the link I mentioned above.

If you want to see the exact behavior, here’s the actual link:
    http://www.gentupenguin.com/jins/wp-admin/users.php
It malfunctions regardless of whether I call the file directly by typing it in, or whether I click the “Users” tab within WordPress.

Nevermind, it turned out to be a really strange coincidence that both WordPress and my host’s control panel software were trying to use the same files/directories. It’s all better now and wasn’t the fault of WordPress!
