Support » Networking WordPress » Users have no access to subdomains

  • Hi all,

New to multisite and hoping this is a simple issue to solve.

I’ve set up multisite on the domain zbgc.com.au

There’s four subdomains sitting beneath, all which have been added to the top level multisite admin.

I’ve created users at the top level and added them to each of the subdomains through the multisite admin panel.

So the problem is that none of the users have any access to the subdomains.

I’ve checked this post which suggests the users should just have automatic access, but this doesn’t seem to be the case with my situation.

    Any help would be great!

    Thanks

    L.

Have you tried logging into (or going to as Network admin) one of the subsites, and adding the user from the subsite dashboard?

Here’s the important piece from the topic link you posted:

But you will still need to “Add Existing User” Tom to the my_sub_domain blog with a role under Users->Add New if you want Tom to see more than his profile.
