Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Users cannot Logout of My Account/Dashboard not working

From within the MY ACCOUNT Dashboard Users cannot log out of their account using the sidebar navigation or the drop down log out navigation link. The end point is customer-logout. When click on Logout it redirects to /my-account/customer-logout/ but stays on the my account page. When you hover over link you see /my-account/customer-logout/

However, users can log out by clicking on “Hello User (not User?) Log out). When you hover over the logout link you see: /my-account/customer-logout/?_wp_nonce=eb1cf5bf7e

Appreciate your help, Thanks in advance,
    Paul

Hi there! Do you happen to have a caching plugin active on your site? It sounds like that might be causing issues. Try turning it off and see if users can log out then. Let us know how that goes!

    Thank you for your reply.

I managed to find the problem and it was to do with a piece of css hiding the “Are you sure you want to log out? Confirm and log out” I removed this code and it is now working.

    Thanks again for your help.

    hi @wils1234
I am having similar problems right now. Customers cannot logout from my-account and it keeps on reversing to my-account.
strangely, if i go to homepage, it looks like its logged out , but if i clicked back to my-account, it is showing as if it is not logged out

can you share what kind of “piece of css” that you removed?

    Hi Fransing,

For me the issue was in the custom code. Check your custom css code. I am sorry I canĀ“t remember now which piece of code was causing it; but I removed all my css code and started with a blank page and added each piece of code one by one until I found the offending css and then removed it.

    Hope this helps.
