Users cannot access profile.php

    I am using the Role Manager plugin and have the role ‘Author’ granted permission to Read (amongst other capabilities). To my understanding, the Read capability should allow a user edit the his/her profile.

    When an ‘Author’ logs in, she sees ‘Dashboard’,’Write’,’Manage’,’Profile’.

    When clicking on ‘Profile’, she receives the response:

    “You are not allowed to do this here”

    Any thoughts?
