I had the same problem and it took me hours to fix it. Apparently, I had a required field in my user form which was not editable by user. I’ve found it, made it editable and it fixed my problem. I hope this helps.
Hi @nkell,
What version of the Ultimate member you have installed on your website?
This issue can be due to some conflicts with your theme or one of your plugins.
Please do a quick conflict test and see if this issue goes away.
Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.
Regards.
I have the exact same problem. Users cannot save their profiles. As an Admin I can update anyone profile. But normal users, although they can get in edit mode, when they click the Update button nothing happen (screen stay in edit mode instead of returning to profile page).
This seems to be a bug : even if you check the option for the user role to modify its own profile it does not work.
Here is the workaround that worked for me:
Check the option to permit the user role to modify OTHER users and limit it to a role that is not used (so that the role cannot in fact edit any other real users).
Than the user can modify its own profile now.
@nkell Hope this help you.
@ultimatemembersupport Please report this to the developpers.
