I’ve been working on my website at http://www.johnrosenman.com and promoting it. I am a SF/F/H/Paranormal Romance, etc. writer, and I now have seventy users and subscribers. I am pleased, but I would like to know exactly what this means. I believe I have an idea, but I’m not sure. Just how do subscribers “use” my site? Is it that every time I tinker or add to my site, they receive an RSS feed or notice to that effect of the changes and can follow along? Any input would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

The term “Subscriber” can mean a user with an account for logging in at your site to do something there, and it can also refer to someone who has a subscription to an e-mail list or news service or whatever. If you have users in the Subscriber role or any other, have a look here:

Thank you. Apparently it means that the Subscriber can do one thing: fill out a profile form on my website that others can access.
