Username to Username Emails

Is there a plugin or hack that allows users to email one another anonymously from my website? I want attendees to be able to communicate with the event organizer (person posting event)without them having to disclose thier personal email addresses. For example, where users and event organizers can send emails to one another using their username, rather than their real email address.
