# username in wordpress.org vs. .com

 * I accidentally signed up for a username with this forum, thinking that I was 
   signing up with all of wordpress across the board. I wasn’t. Being able to sign
   on to the forums on .org has no bearing on being able to sign up or even login
   in any way on wordpress.com.
 * Now, not only is my preferred username taken (by myself), but my email address
   also already has an account connected to it, but not, apparently, an account 
   that can actually have a blog.
 * Thoughts? Please?

 * You can sign up at .com with the same username but not the same email.
