# Username creation

 * As per your last update, usernames should be created depending on social URL.
   However this is not working, is there any way to resolve this issue?

 * Before version 1.3.8 our plugin’s username generation rule was
    – firstName-identifierNumber-
   socialName [atiq-32432424252323432-facebook]
 * In version 1.3.8 to 1.3.10 username generation rule was
    – SocialShortFormIdentifierNumber[
   fb32432424252323432]
 * In version 1.3.11 due to some client request, the rule changed to
    – frstNamelastName
   all are lowercase, space-removed and in case of duplication counter suffix added
   with dash [atiqsu, atiqsu-2]
 * Does the last name generation rule satisfy you ?
    Or do you have any specific
   rule in mind? Please share your thoughts so we all can come to a decision.
