 * Hi,
 * I wanted to put the username of the user into my top email’s template like this:
 * Hi {user_login},
 * But it seems not functional.
    How to do that?

 * Hi [@stefhanwp](https://wordpress.org/support/users/stefhanwp/),
 * you may only use the merge tags you can see in the sidebar of the notification
   edit screen.
 * I guess you want to personalize the email which is triggered by the no-user-aware-
   context trigger, like “post published” sent to all subscribers.
 * Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment due to the plugin architecture.
