User roles not working when switched

    I’m running a WooCommerce web store with the official Wholesale plugin. This allows me to use different pricing and other store settings when a wholesale customer is logged in. A wholesale customer is identified by way of the WordPress User Role.
    When I use the user switching functionality the role of the user is overwritten so the value contained in the WP_User object is incorrect. That breaks the functionality of the Wholesale system.

    Is there a way the user role can be maintained when switching?

    Sorry but you’ll need to ask the author of the Wholesale plugin to take a look at this. User Switching only switches you between accounts by creating a new user session and swapping your browser cookies, so if the role of the account itself is being changed then it must be something else must be making that change.

    Also try deactivating your other plugins one by one first to see if another plugin is causing the problem.
