# User role – create users

 * Hi
    I created a new user role which can only create and edit users. But, I would
   like this user to only be able to create users with a specific role. Currently
   he can create all kind of users. Can this be done?

 * I’m in the process of building a hierarchical roles add-on plugin for Members,
   which is being commissioned by a client who is willing to let me release it back
   to the WP community for free. This would allow users to only create users “below”
   their role, for example.
 * At the moment, I’m pretty much done with it and plan to release it next week 
   to the public.
