[Resolved] User Registration dependent on mail()

  • Hi, users do not get their password.

The e-mail could not be sent.
Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function…

So, I did inquire with my hoster if they indeed have disabled mail() but what if they did, is there a workaround?

Hey, I had trouble with GamerZ WP email and changed that to SMTP (has that option).

Now with plugin you suggested enabled, new users can register AND get their password per email. BUUUUUT WP email doesn’t work. I changed WP email to php again, but still, no avail.

Oh great, now I deactivated smtp plugin but wp email still doesn’t work. more digging appears necessary.
