If you have an access to your Control Panel, simply login, locate your MX Entry and check Remote Mail Exchanger. This is so that your site doesn’t accepts any e-mail’s locally, since you’re hosting this at Google.

What you can do is to install this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/ and in email options set your Google Apps settings.

If one of my users forget their passowrd, there is a 500 (internal Server) error. The only people are able to sign-up is via facebook
