# User Registration

 * I’m using the [User Management](https://ninjaforms.com/extensions/user-management/)
   plugin by ninja forms to register users.
 * I’ve tried putting the settings to where the ninja form registers users as a 
   player with the proper settings enabled in Sportspress but new users are not 
   being created as players/being added in the players. They are being register 
   as a Player user role to wordpress, but not an actual player in sportspress. 
   I still have to go to the player tab and manually add them as a player to the
   platform.
 * what am I doing wrong? Do I have to use the default wordpress register form for
   this to work? Or am I getting confused on what the player registration feature
   actually is?

 * Indeed, the automatic player profile creation will only work if you use the default
   WP registration form.
 * If you use a custom form, you’ll need some custom code to create the player registration
   as well.

 * We don’t have one specific file you can adjust for that. So you’ll need to look
   in our code how that function is added or create a custom workflow for that.
