User profile update does not work

    Hello good afternoon, I have a big problem.

    When the User accesses the area to update your profile and click the gear appears sometimes all fields for editing and sometimes only biography. and when the User fills in all fields and click or “V” to update or profile update button all data disappear and return all blank. The screen just flashes and disappears all.

    But I found that when the logs out and logs User data again updated station … but if you try to upgrade again encounter the same error.

    The same happens with the photos cover and profile.

    The other functions of the plugin are all functioning normally.

    @recyclart – Are you able to setup a staging site so we can test? We’ve received reports regarding theme issues after WP 4.5.2 update.

    this problem cache if concerns some plugin cache or my browser’s cache ?

    as I said before .. when I get out of this account and return all regular and updated .. .. but if not do this preocesso to leave and enter again not updated …

    PROBLEM RESOLVED!! Thank you Champ

    For others on this thread:

    I am using a theme named “Salient” – it offers a page transition setting that caused the problem. I ran the conflict test disabling/ enabling all plugins on Twenty Fifteen but there was no issue, then switched back to Salient only for the problem to recur. I reset all settings within Salient and turned each back on in a similar way to the plugin conflict test and eventually found the issue with page transitions.

    my suggestion to all on this thread is to runt he plugin conflict test first (using Twenty Fifteen as Champ suggests), then if all seems fine with the plugins, do it again on your chosen theme settings. If you have a live site I would suggest doing it at a time when your traffic will be at its lowest and maybe send a communication to your members stating there will be maintenance for one hour or so at xxxx time. Downtime is minimal if you are quick with the tests, took me no more then 30 minutes to complete.

    @champ: I found the problem and it was a conflict with LazyLoad plugin. I added a rule for the user page to not lazyload images on this page and everything work again now.

    When i update profile no message is displayed saying that ‘your profile been updated’.
    How do i overcome this issue, please anyone reply with solution for this issue.

    @karan – Did you ever figure this out? We too get a 404 error no page found after clicking update profile in users account. Really driving us crazy.

    Hello

    I have been struggling for a while with this user update profile that does not work too.

    This chain gave me the answer and I would like to share my own experience and conclusion.

    1) In my case, the LOGINIZER plugin (this is a very popular plugin against brute force attacks) does cause problems to ULTIMATE MEMBER… and the other way around ! I deactivated LOGINIZER and I managed to update user profile.

    2) LOGINIZER used with Ultimate Member does not block account after three password failures

    3) I didn’t detect any incompatibility between ULIMATE MEMBER and the APPOINTMENT theme

    4) The “Remember me” checkbox does not remember anybody with or without Loginizer and I couldn’t find who to blame so far.
