user profile pic

I’ve been sifting through all the plugins for wordpress and I’m not sure if I can find one that will do what I’m looking for. I’m looking for a plugin to use to upload a user profile picture and then automatically resize it for use in the blog site, comments, pages, etc. For the site, I see users uploading pictures with different dimensions and the photo may not work for the site’s required dimensions. It would be great if something existed similar to how facebook uploads a user photo and allows the user to shift the photo in the frame. Is there anything close that I could use?
