    Hi there,

I see that you have raised two queries.

You can map the username attribute in the attribute mapping section of the plugin so that it will create a new account for the SSO user with that username if it does not exist already.

Regarding retrieving the user data, do you want to access them through hook or map them directly to the user account in WordPress?

If you could raise a query from the support form inside the plugin, it will help us to assist you more efficiently.

    Thank you

Hi @cyberlord92 , thanks a lot for your nice reply.

Regarding retrieving the user data, do you want to access them through hook or map them directly to the user account in WordPress?

Can you please tell me both ways so that, I can choose the best / easiest way for me.

Actually, my goal is to make a user profile, so that, an user can see his details.Like,
    Name : his full name
    Email : his email address.

    Kind regards

    Hi @bluemoon86,

We provide the feature to update the user’s WordPress profile automatically on SSO based on the user attribute received from the OAuth provider(AWS Cognito in your case) with our advanced attribute mapping feature which comes within our paid plans.

Also, we do provide developer hooks to fetch the user detail on SSO, so you can retrieve them easily using these hooks and can update them on your own as per your requirement, this feature is also present in our paid plans of the plugin.

Both these features are capable to achieve what you are looking for.

So, to guide you better, can you please drop an email at oauthsupport@xecurify.com with the detailed description so that we can assign an engineer to your query who will help you know all these features in full detail.

    Thanks

Hi @cyberlord92 thanks for your suggestions and reply.
I am not expert, but if you tell me the hook / function name, from where I can get the values coming from AWS cognito, I can use them.

    Kind regards
