  • Is said user perhaps posting unwanted links, comments on other websites and you are using a SPAM type plugin?

    Site link?

Not to my knowledge. Just sent me a message one day saying he couldn’t log in. Reset his cookies, etc. I tried a few of the fixes that I’ve searched out. Nothing seems to work.

Do you know this person? If not, just remove account, and ask them to re-register – if it’s one user, it is that their user setup is messed or their computer, their connection etc is.

To test if a user can login, create a new user account and try to login.

He’s been a regular contributor to the site for a while. New account didn’t work. I’m sure it has something to do with the redirect loop issues, I just can’t get it fixed with the solutions I’ve found.

Remove your .htaccess file…login, re-save permalinks settings…this will re-create .htaccess. Also check for .htaccess in other folders of site – use FileZilla to perform a remote search. Try again.
