User Login for certain pages

Dear users, i’v serached and found some threads, but all end with no answer.
I have a website http://www.surenelina.com it’s for my upcoming wedding, I have a few pages that I want people to access after they register and with my approval. You can see that I did figure how to make pages proteced and assign a passwrod, but i am not liking the way it looks, i rather have it ask people to login/register to view the page. How can this be done in wordpress or with some plugins.
If you look at the website, I want all the categories except for home page to be private.
