User limitations

  • Hi. I am running a Non-profit and am in need of a few people to build some pages on my site, which are basically a templete but need the text inputted. My question is this…. is there a user limitation that would allow them to crete and edit a page but not allow them to delete the page. My fear, as Im sure you can understand would be a disruntled person who decides one day to delete all my pages and im out of business. Any suggestions/ Info would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank You

You should also take regular file & database backups and ensure that you are able to restore them, then you can recover from any disaster accidental or deliberate.

Always sound advice! Specifically, the database is where all content is kept. Many folks think they jus back up files and they are good to go…. remember that you have a database containing everything!

Thanks for the advice. Im not sure how to backup wordpress files yet as I am a true newbie but I am sure there must be something on this site that will allow me to do so. I appreciate the advice and will take it seriously. Thank You again.
