    Hi there,

I have a user set to 1. Is there a way when that user saves a draft for admin to emailed alerting of this post?

    Just wondered.

    Thanks

I couldn’t find a prefab solution for this, so I wrote up what I’ve done as a plugin. See http://www.blogwaffe.com:8000/2005/04/22/275/

A better solution would be for the plugin to add a new button to the Post Editing screen: “Notify Admin”. A user may save several draft versions of the post before wanting it published. The above was easier, though.

A new button wouldn’t be terribly difficult, but I’ve not got the time at the moment. Drop me a comment on that post of mine, and I can email you if I ever get around to it.
