I don’t know who decided what permissions to give different user levels, but I can’t use any of the levels. They give permissions I don’t want at lower levels, and permissions I do want are not given.

May I suggest making user level permissions to be set by the actual owner of the blog? A nice interface with check boxes, so we can decide what we want to give and not give?

I want my registered users to be able to edit their own comments. BTW only their own comments. I don’t want a user of level one to be able to write a draft. You give that permission and no editing of their own comment? I don’t want anyone except in the upper levels to be able top write an article at all!

I honestly think this should be blog owner configurable.

thanks for a great product and your time.

  • User Levels will be replaced by expanded user capabilities in WordPress 1.6 (or whatever version it’s given).
