 * It seems that the user ID’s have disappeared and I can’t seem to get them to
show anywhere. Anyone have any idea how to tell what the user ID’s are now?

 * I used to go in the Super admin (network admin now) and under the users tab,
the first column was user ID’s. Since the update, that column no longer exists
and I have plugins that require me to manually enter in that user ID. Any idea
how to get that user ID column back?

 * I noticed that also the “Name” Column is now blank. That used to show what name
you wanted the user to be shown as.
 * Hasn’t anyone else experienced issues with users since the update?

 * It also appears that Site ID’s are gone as well, which will make mapping domains
rather difficult if you cannot see the site ID.

 * um, no – you can still map sites by visiting the admin area of that site, then
   mapping it.
 * Network admin is the replacement of Super Admin. It’s a whole separate new area.
 * And hover over the site name in the listing, as well as the users.

 * I understand that their is a new admin area, but important columns are no longer
showing. That is my entire point.
 * Hovering shows the normal options, but I still do not see where the User ID /
Site ID columns went as well as why the Name columns are now blank for the users.
 * By domain mapping, I meant Network Settings->Settings->Domain that asks for the
site ID (whose column no longer shows up when you look under sites).
 * Do you see what I am talking about? Is there a genuine problem with columns missing
or am I the only one experiencing this issue? As a sidenote I have been using
Multisite fine for a few months now.

 * Yes, I know where that is. i’m suggesting you go to the SITE itself and look
under Tools -> Domain Mapping. You can map the domain from there without inputting
the ID becasue it assumes the site you are on is the one you are mapping.
 * > why the Name columns are now blank for the users.
 * i’m seeign this too, but I still see the username. IME many users don’t fill
out the name anyway, so for me this is a minor issue.
 * Yes, the ID column is gone. But you can still SEE the ID when you hover over
the name of the site. I just checked. you see a string in the bottom of your
broswer that ends with site-info.php?ID=3 or whatever number it is.

 * Ok I see what your saying about seeing the ID in the browser link, but that seems
rather counter-intuitive. No idea why the ID columns would be removed. The name
column may seem minor, but I always change my users appearance to something different
than what the actual username is. That column being blank or filled is how I
check if I have updated the username properly.
 * Are both of these issues bugs with the new update or was this change meant to
   be like this?

 * I have been searching for the ID’s also. I even tried some of the plugins that
used to work and nothing would bring them back to the lists.
    Thanks [@andrea_r](https://wordpress.org/support/users/andrea_r/)
for the tip. But I agree with [@kyp83](https://wordpress.org/support/users/kyp83/)
that such use is NOT intuitive. What is the reasoning of removing the ID fields
from the respective lists. I used them to sort users – since the highest UserID
is the newest and may need to be “moderated” at times. Although the “Registered”
field does it, I was just confused. I have always thought that the default sort
should be last registered at the top. Now, it is a two-step process to get there:
sort on registered & then reverse sort. And for those of us with slow servers,
   that is a bit frustrating.

 * Or click on the upper right section where it shows a link to the last page of
   your user listing?
 * Also, the search box has been revamped.

 * @ raywaldo and kyp83,
Have you tried this? [Reveal IDs](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/reveal-ids-for-wp-admin-25/).
I find it really helpful and well maintained as well.

 * [@marikamitsos](https://wordpress.org/support/users/marikamitsos/) – yes but
it does not work in the network admin (for site/blog ids or user id). At least,
I could not manage to get it to do so.

 * The thing is, the ID columns (and the name column for users) were fine until
the 3.1 update and the new Network Settings Interface. There are even new options
to turn on and off what columns you want to be shown by default, but for some
reason, ID’s is not one of those options. I am sure it was just an oversight,
but it really is an issue that needs to be fixed. There are numerous reasons
why ID’s are needed. Even for the simplest of reasons like list sorting. Hopefully
   this issue is promptly fixed.

 * The ID columns, like the ID columns on the posts and pages screens, have indeed
been removed. They very likely will not be coming back.

 * I know it’s easier to see them all in a list but you CAN still get the IDs.

 * @ Otto.. Why won’t they be coming back?
