# User Groups

 * I am using a plugin called User Group Management to organize my users into groups.
   I do have each group linked to their own roles. However my users can belong to
   multiple groups and this is where my problem lies. Is it possible to do this 
   with this plugin?
 * I see that user 1 has the role subscriber and I can send an email to the subscriber
   role and that works great. That same user also belongs to the international group
   and since in wordpress I can only set 1 primary role this will not work.
 * Ideas?

 * Does it report the name of the file for this error? Are you doing a Post or Page
   notification or are you using the Send to Group menu choice?

 * I think I know what the problem is – it is doing something with the Users Groups
   plugin without ensuring it is enabled. Should be a quick fix.

 * Ok – [download Beta 2](http://michaelwalsh.org/blog/2013/08/05/email-users-v4-5-0-beta-2-now-available/)
   and see if it fixes the problem, I believe it will.

 * That is what beta releases are for! Thanks for taking the time to look at it.
   I’d like to release this version in the next day or two so if you run into anything
   else let me know ASAP.
