# “user” folder is missing

 * Hello guys,
 * I updated the plugin to latest version and now the “user” folder is missing, 
   so when I click on any user I get an 404 error page, can you tell me where is
   the path to create that folder back or any alternative to fix this?

 * Please navigate to **wp-admin > settings > permalinks** page on your website.
   Visiting this page will refresh the rewrite rules on your website. Try to visit
   the user page once you visit the “**permalinks**” settings page and see if that
   fixes the issue.

 * It fixed it! one last question, is it possible UM plugin stores cache of customization
   code done to the plugin, I ask this because when I see in browser console I have
   noticed there’s some code left there

   did not do anything wrong and I just want to explain.

   access and/or ftp access” to the developer and that’s not permitted under any
   circumstances with any forum user. I archived that reply of yours. It is still
   there intact but no one but a moderator can see it.
 * If [@ultimatemembersupport](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ultimatemembersupport/)
   takes you up on that offer then they will be permanently banned and the developer
   may lose their plugin on this site. It really is that serious.
