user field … reserved for admin !

    Hi,

    I’d like to add a member custom field that the member cannot modify himself.
    This field would be a “member number”, and only admin & editor have permission to enter e value.
    Is there a way to do that ?

    Yes, it’s possible by adding a text box field and setting Privacy “Visible to only specific user roles – Admin”

    That is a good start, thank you for your answer.
    But I want to display it on the member profile page … so it has to be “reserved to admin” AND “visible to all” … is that possible ?

    Hi @rom-soul,

    You can uncheck “Can user edit this field?” thus users won’t be able to edit this field.
