 * Hi all. I am a new WP user and would like to ask if anyone could teach me as
   to how I can extract user information from the tables in my database.
 * So far I have created three users other than the admin user account and I would
   like to know 1. where all the information keyed in during user registration such
   as email and username are stored 2. how to get to this information and 3. how
   to retrieve this information. The thing is that I want to use the email addresses
   and names of the users to compile a mailing list of sorts.
 * I have browsed through the forums and learnt that I should use phpmyadmin to
   view the tables in my database. However, I am not conversant in the use of phpmyadmin
   and thus found it extremely difficult to understand the documentations I found
   on the website. Any layman type of explanation would be most helpful. I would
   deeply appreciate any help that anyone can render on this issue.

 * I’d suggest a plugin:
    [http://www.skippy.net/blog/category/wordpress/plugins/subscribe2/](http://www.skippy.net/blog/category/wordpress/plugins/subscribe2/)
 * The information is indeed in the wp_users table, but phpmyadmin is a powerful
   tool and it has no ‘undo’ function. If you do go looking, be very careful not
   to alter anything.

 * Thank you for the prompt help. I’ll check out the plug-in.
