    Hi
How can I allow logged in users to edit their own directory listing? WP users are currently setup as editors, all advise welcome.

    Hi Tyler

WP users can already edit their listings assuming two things:
    - The listing belongs to them (by them placing it, or admin assigning it)
    - They are logged into the site

If you place a listing as an admin, by default the listing is assigned to the admin. It can be changed by editing the listing and at the bottom, change the "Author" field. Once a user owns the listing and they login, they can navigate to the listing to see an Edit button on it. That allows them to make changes.

There are shortcodes that also allow users to see all their listings on a page. More on that here: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/valid-bd-shortcodes-2-1/

    Hi
Many thanks for that, do the users have to be set to admin capability? As I don't really want the users to access and change other areas of the site, I have them currently setup as subscribers.

    Hi Tyler,

No, users do not have to be admins to place listings, although they can only do so from the front end. Admins can place in both locations (front and back end).
