User comments on photos

    I wish to use Mediapress in a school alumni site and for the photo gallery I would like users to add a caption/comments under their photos.

    Please can anyone advise me on how to set up Mediapress so as to allow users to add captions/comments under their photos.

    I’m fairly new to Mediapress so need careful instructions!

    Hi Michael,
    Thank you for your interest in using the plugin.

    At the moment, mediaPress does not allow adding caption on the upload screen.

    It does allow users to add caption later on the Gallery edit and Media Edit screens.

    Here are 2 ways to do it.

    1. After uploading the media, open the media in the lightbox and click edit. That allows to set the description.

    2. or visit Gallery and click on “Edit”, then on “Media” tab and you can bulk edit the descriptions here.
