# User capabilities issue

 * Hello, I was just wondering if somebody would be able to help me out please?
 * I am having a slight issue with the events manager plugin. I am trying to use
   it alongside buddypress. In the user capabilities section, even though it is 
   set for subscribers NOT being able to publish events, they still can. Also, i
   cannot see where buddypress groups can create events either.
 * As you may have gathered, I wish for groups to create the events, not subscribers.
 * I would really appreciate any help.

 * Can you either link to an image of the settings for Subscriber under Events >
   Settings > General > User Capabilities or copy and paste the capabilities you
   have checked? Thanks.

 * you can uncheck edit_events capability to limit subscriber to create events and
   then to able group to create events maybe you can try to check [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-events-manager-have-group-moderators-and-group-members-create-group-events-for-buddypress-group?replies=7](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-events-manager-have-group-moderators-and-group-members-create-group-events-for-buddypress-group?replies=7)
