User avatars for each post

I have a blog with multiple authors and I’m trying to find a plugin that would allow each author to upload their own icon from their profile page and have it displayed at the top left of each post, with the title, date, etc. floating to the right of the image. Mentalfloss.com is a perfect example of what I have in mind.

I’ve searched all over the forums and the plugin directory, but I can’t seem to find quite what I’m looking for. Any suggestions?
