    Hello,

    if I want to change a user-account (in WordPress), I have to enter additional data, e.g. the address. And always a new password is necessary. Otherwise I cannot save the user.

    This is not the case on other WordPress installations and has only occurred since Ultimate Member was installed. However, the problem does not go away if the plugin is deactivated. I deactivated all plugins. The problem is always the same.

    I don’t need the additional data. Is there a setting to deactivate the function?

    I’m not sure what user-account are you referring to? Could you please provide a screenshot so we can see the issue clearly?

    it’s the normal WordPress user-account.

    How can I provide a screenshot?

    Do you want to disable the password requirement in Account form > General tab?

    If so, you can try this code snippet to remove the password required in the form:
    add_filter('um_account_general_require_current','__return_false');

    Would that mean that a password is no longer required to access the website? It is a closed member area. The password is required to log in.

    Hi @helpar

    The password field is only removed from the Account > General tab with the code provided above. Users are still required to use the password in the Login form.
